Get started with AMC Store

Download AMCStore.bat
Windows Command Script (disclaimer, you can inspect the batch code in notepad.)

Important Safety & Third-Party Mod Disclaimer

AMC Store is an open-source installer framework. While the launcher script itself is safe and completely inspectable via plain text, community-submitted mods or third-party repositories operate independently.

Please be aware of the following risks before running unverified mods:

  • Unverified Mods: Custom scripts, external DLLs, or untrusted mods can potentially carry malicious software (malware, token loggers, or keyloggers).
  • Open Source Transparency: Because AMC Store installs via batch (.bat), you can right-click the installer and choose "Edit" to view all source code before executing it.
  • No Warranty: Use third-party mods at your own discretion and risk. Never run packages provided by untrusted or anonymous sources.

🔍 Fully Transparent

Zero hidden compiled binaries in the launcher. Open the file in Notepad to read every single line of automation code.

📦 Modular Architecture

Easily load, swap, and manage custom packages and community game modifications without locking your system down.

Terms of Service

Effective: September 4, 2026  •  AMC Studios / AMC Store  •  Contact: @acutebunny on Discord
By downloading, installing, or using AMC Store you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the launcher. This is not legal advice — adapt as needed for your jurisdiction.

1. What AMC Store is

AMC Store is a free, open-source mod launcher for Gorilla Tag (BepInEx-based mods). It lets you browse, download, install, update, and uninstall community mods, manage an account, and use community features (comments, likes, subscriptions, channels, DMs, group chats, mod uploads).

AMC Store is a community project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Gorilla Tag, Another Axiom, Meta, or Steam. Modding may violate the game platform's rules — you mod at your own risk.

2. What the app changes on your PC

To work, the launcher must:

  • Read your Steam install path from the registry (HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Valve\Steam) and steamapps/libraryfolders.vdf only to locate the Gorilla Tag folder. It does not collect Steam credentials.
  • Read/write your chosen game folder, specifically BepInEx\plugins\AMCStore\<modId>, plus a .version file per mod. Uninstall deletes that mod's folder.
  • Store local data in %AppData%\AMCStore\ (prefs.json, installed.json, icons/, cache/, notifier.json, crash.log, update.flag). Deleting that folder resets local settings.
  • Auto-update by downloading a ZIP, extracting to Temp, and running a hidden PowerShell script to copy files and relaunch. Windows may prompt for admin (UAC) if the install folder is not writable.
  • Run a companion background process (AMCStore.Notifier.exe) for notifications.
  • Ask to close Gorilla Tag before installing. It only terminates the game process after you click Yes.

You are responsible for backing up your game folder and having BepInEx installed correctly.

3. Accounts

  • You need an account for downloads, uploads, comments, likes, subscriptions, chat, and friends. Usernames and passwords (min. 4 characters) are sent over HTTPS to acutebunny.pythonanywhere.com. You receive a session token stored locally.
  • Keep your credentials private. You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • Do not share, sell, scrape, or automate accounts. Aggressive download automation / rate-limit abuse (HTTP 429) may result in an automatic bot ban.
  • One person per account. Impersonating staff, using offensive usernames, or evading a ban is prohibited.
  • Log out from shared PCs. Use Wipe/Reset or delete %AppData%\AMCStore to clear tokens locally.

4. Acceptable use & community rules

When uploading mods, avatars, messages, or profiles you agree not to:

  1. Upload malware, token loggers, keyloggers, stealers, RATs, miners, or obfuscated malicious DLLs/scripts.
  2. Upload content you do not own or have rights to share, or content that infringes copyright.
  3. Harass, dox, threaten, spam, flood chat, post NSFW/gore, or share GIF/media links that violate the above.
  4. Abuse the API (scraping, mass downloads, spamming likes/comments/subscribes, evading filters).
  5. Upload mods over 5 MB or avatars over 500 KB, or attempt to bypass those limits.

We may remove content, restrict uploads, or suspend/ban accounts that violate these rules. Mod owners may edit their listing, push new builds, or delete their mods.

What we don't collect: Steam passwords, Discord tokens, files outside the game folder and %AppData%\AMCStore, or anything beyond what is listed above. The launcher never scans your PC for unrelated data.

6. Third-party / unverified mods — read this

Mods marked UNVERIFIED are community uploads. They pass automated scans but have not been manually reviewed. They can contain bugs or malware, break your game, or get your game account banned. OFFICIAL / verified only means the AMC team reviewed it — it is still third-party code.

  • Always inspect what you install. Never run mods from untrusted or anonymous sources.
  • Back up your game before installing. Close Gorilla Tag during installs.
  • If an antivirus flags a mod or the updater, review it before allowing it.

7. Availability, updates & termination

  • The store API (acutebunny.pythonanywhere.com) may be offline, rate-limited, or change without notice. Installed mods keep working offline.
  • We may push launcher updates, change features, remove mods/content, or suspend accounts for abuse, botting, malware, or ToS violations, with or without notice.
  • You may stop using AMC Store anytime by uninstalling mods, logging out, and deleting %AppData%\AMCStore and the install folder.

8. Age

Gorilla Tag has a young audience. If you are under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), use AMC Store only with a parent/guardian. Do not share personal info in public channels, DMs, bios, or mod descriptions.

9. No warranty & liability

AMC Store and all mods are provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent allowed by law, AMC Studios is not liable for lost data, broken installs, game bans, account loss, or damage from third-party mods, downloads, or community content. Your sole remedy is to stop using the software.

10. Changes & contact

We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means acceptance. Material changes will be noted via announcements/changelog. Questions, abuse reports, malware concerns, or takedown requests: contact @acutebunny on Discord.
